How much do English classes with Aly cost?

Group speaking classes cost £49.99 a month, and that includes about four classes. Private 1-to-1 lessons cost £100 for one hour.

When are the group classes?

Every Sunday at 2pm London time. You get about four classes every month.

What level do I need to be?

The group class is for intermediate and advanced learners. Private lessons are for any level, including beginners.

What if I miss a group class?

You still get the class notes every week, so you do not miss the English. There is no problem if you cannot come one week.

How long is a private lesson?

One hour, online by video call.

What will we study in a private lesson?

You choose. Tell me your problems and your goals when you book, and I will build the lesson around them. We do not use a textbook.

Can I book only one private lesson?

Yes. You do not need to buy a package and there is no contract.

Can I do both the group class and private lessons?

Yes, and many students do. They practise every week in the group and book a private lesson when they need help with something specific.

 

Do I need to prepare anything before a private lesson?

No, but it helps. If you send me a text, an email, a video or a question before the lesson, we can use it.

What if my English is too bad to have a conversation?

It is not. This is the most common worry, and it is almost never true. I will speak at the right speed for you, and I will help you when you get stuck.

Can I cancel the group class?

Yes, you can cancel any time.

Do you teach children?
